Egypt and Denmark sign agreement to invest in renewable energy

Egypt and Denmark have signed an agreement on the energy sector in order to improve Egypt´s green transformation and invest in renewable energy. This will bring an improvement in energy efficiency and the implementation of Egypt´s sustainable energy strategy helping to achieve goal 7 of the United Nation´s Sustainable Development Goals.

It is emphasized that, through the New Global Partnership Narrative, the 17 United Nation´s Sustainable Development Goals will be achieved by the adoption of a human-centered model.

The agreement seeks to increase the share of renewable energy to more than 42% by 2035.

Precisely, Professor Amr Elbanhawy has been interviewed to talk about, among other things, the WESET Project and it´s work and collaboration with Aalborg University. In the program (that you can watch here) He talks about the wind energy centers and the curricula development of WESET.
